The centerpiece of this campaign will be the renovation of the sanctuary’s pipe organ. After 70 years of faithful service, the original 1954 Austin organ (Op. 2213) has developed significant tonal and mechanical issues due to deteriorating pipe chambers and general wear. To restore the instrument’s artistic integrity and maintain its status as the “jewel in the crown” of our beautiful space, an extensive renovation plan has been developed in conjunction with the organ-building firm of R. A. Colby, Inc. and our Minister of Music, Ryan Dye.
In the summer of 2026, the organ will be removed, with select pipework sent to the Colby workshop for cleaning and restoration. The pipe chambers will undergo full renovation in preparation for the updated instrument. By early 2027, the organ will return, incorporating several new ranks of pipes, windchests, swell enclosures, and a stunning independent gallery division designed to frame the rear rose window. A new state-of-the-art, 4-manual moveable console will complete this ambitious project.

We are including 2 areas of upgrades surrounding our worship space. The first is to upgrade the our narthex hospitality welcome space with improved flooring and lighting that is consistent with the lighting in the Sanctuary.
The Sacristy is a worship preparation space that is located behind our sanctuary. We anticipate making upgrades in storage allowing for a far more efficient use of the space.
As we provide hospitality for our church community and outside groups who utilize our space, we look forward to a complete modernization for our elevator system making it safer, cleaner, and more maintenance friendly for the next 30 years of its lifespan!

We want to grow our capacity for mission so have built in a mission component to the campaign. We have chosen to support LEAP Housing which is an Idaho-based nonprofit that believes all people deserve an opportunity to access a safe, stable and affordable home. LEAP’s mission is to develop and preserve affordable housing while providing empowering services that lead to greater housing stability.
LEAP’s mission directly correlates to one of our church’s outreach program to feed and house the houseless in our area, and we look forward to partnering in creating some housing together!

We are establishing the Kristen Davis Endowment for the Arts. The funds in the endowment will promote concerts, musical opportunities, and education time for our larger community on our new organ in this beautiful space. It will enable a legacy of leadership in the musical arts.
Kristen Davis loved music, and she loved supporting music, and we are grateful to partner with their family as a way to honor her after her recent death.
